Product Description

Vitamode® SUPERBA™ KRILL OIL 1000mg is a rich source of the essential fatty acid, omega-3 that provides our cells with EPA and DHA important for healthy cell development and body functions. Krill oil omega-3 fatty acids are bound to phospholipids which make them significantly more bioavailable than fish oils and thus providing our body with optimum omega-3 absorption. Krill oil contains a natural antioxidant Astaxanthin, a red carotenoid, which gives krill oil its red colour. Vitamode® SUPERBA™ KRILL OIL 1000mg is freshly harvested from pristine and toxin-free Antarctic waters and immediately processed on board a ship.

FAQ

Q Why krill oil?

A Krill oil contains 40% phospholipids. Phospholipids are building blocks for cell membranes and regulate cellular transport by functioning as “gate-keeper”. The most predominant phospholipid in Krill oil is phosphatidylcholine (PC), which is partially composed of choline. Choline is important for healthy development.

Krill oil’s omega-3 like EPA and DHA are bound to phospholipids giving you optimum omega-3 absorption. Phospholipid omega-3s are significantly more bioavailable than fish oil omega-3s because it allows the direct entrance of EPA and DHA into the cells. Both EPA and DHA are important for healthy cell development and body functions. Regular omega-3 intake can reduce the risk of diseases.

Q Why is krill oil red in colour?
