Opened of 2 new outlets. Damansara Heights and The Linc. 70% of Ascen+ stake acquired by Medispec, a Pharmaceutical Company (who owns Vitamode) who is also a portfolio of Ekuinas.

Ascen Plus Pharmacy became the official merchant of MSD (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. In year 2020, we further observe the opening of our first 2 new mall outlets, in Isetan The Japan Store, Lot 10 and in Tropicana Gardens. It is also the very year we officially launched our very own warehouse and logistics.

In 2019, both Alpro Plus Pharmacy and Alpro Pharmacy mutually separated to focus their respective business models, leading to the rebranding to Ascen Plus Pharmacy.

With increasing awareness of the brand, the team were able to engage in various offsite and corporate events, featuring synergistic collaborations with organizations such as Public Bank Berhad, Astro Malaysia and Jebsen & Jessen. Year 2018 also saw the opening of 2 more outlets, namely in Plaza Arkadia in Desa Park City and in Arcoris Mont Kiara.

In year 2016, the company rebranded to Alpro Plus Pharmacy to focus on high-end market and differentiate its stance from its sister company, Alpro Pharmacy. With the rebranding also came with the relocation of the Mid Valley outlet to Tropicana Avenue, a mixed commercial hub nearby Tropicana Resort

The team successfully organized its very first warehouse sales in PJ33 and was well received by the general public. The success has made it a staple event of Ascen Plus Pharmacy, with it being organized annually since 2014.

As the team has always been selective with business locations, in year 2008 we witnessed the consolidation of business, with the relocation of the 1 Utama and Pearl Point outlets to strategically better locations, One Avenue and Aeon Big, Mid Valley.

This year saw the expansion of business with the opening of 2 outlets, namely the 2nd outlet in Jusco, Pearl Point Shopping Mall, followed by the 3rd outlet in PJ33 (formerly known as Jaya 33) in Petaling Jaya.
